Does anyone wake up in the morning feeling bright and cheerful and ready for the day. Can honestly day this is my worst time and have felt like this since I became ill. I HATE IT. Have always been someone to wake fairly early and would look forward to every day, even if there wasn't anything special going on. Now I just feel YUK. Takes me ages to motivate myself to do anything, but don't want to stay in bed either. Oh to wake up and have that lovely feeling again. Anyone had that and found anything that helps. Tracy x

Hi Tracy

yep that's me. Feel horrible in the mornings, and its a real struggle to get three kids off to school by 8.30am. Holidays were brilliant, I could sleep in till 9am, and felt much better. But I am pretty much immobilised in the mornings - don't do anything unless I have to, very weak, lethargic and fluey. This is inspite of the Pred / Armour / T3.

I feel at my best last thing at night, before I go to sleep. Don't know what happens during the night - something horrendous to give me that hungover, can't be bothered to move, feeling. You are not alone.

Yep it's all so confusing. Couldn't motivate myself at all until about 10, then got manic and cleaned the house from top to bottom, it's gleaming. About an hour ago went totally downhill again, wanted to cry, depressed, exhausted. Just forced myself to walk the dog, now feel in desparate need of sleep, otherwise have trouble even making conversation when Evie comes home from school. It's all so hard. Can't work out anything, blood results show my red blood cells are abnormally low, which usually means anaemia, but have too much iron? GP says he hasn't got a clue it just dosen't tie in. Think I'll leave my body to science. LOL love Tracy x

Hi Tracy and Nicola,

Yes! Mornings are so hard. I can barely feed my cat and dog let alone children. I am so weak and drooped over and my heart is pounding all the time now. I am 4 1/2 months post dental revision and am feeling the worse I have ever been. Yesterday was really bad with lots of crying. So last night I started back on 3 mgs of DMSA every three hours and at least I can type this morning a little bit. I think I may be having the mercury dump that everyone talks about.

Nicola, I so agree about feeling better in the evening and have hope for the next morning but consistantly feel like I have been run over by a truck during the night.

Tracy, I am amazed you can clean your house. :-) not possible for me most of the time. I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. Grief on top of metal posioning has got to be extra hard.

I am thankful for this forum. I have learned a great deal from all of you, so thank you for your time and contributions.

Patty

Tracy, are you taking plenty of folic acid and vitamin B12? Try using sublingual(dissolves under tongue for better absorbtion) B12 supplements. Have you ever tried getting B12 injections?

That sucks, try a new doctor. At least you have your crosshairs on what could be the cause for your problems of chronic fatigue. There's gotta be some underlying condition causing that, and a good doctor wouldn't just call it quits/ just shrug it off as an anomaly

May be getting the answer at last Kriminal. Pathologist rang and said lack of B12, too much iron, and wrong red blood cell count all point to a very rare type of serious aneamia, where all the iron gets stored in your liver and prevents blood cells receiving it plus blocks B12 absorbtion. Am awaiting more tests. Annoying thing is GP picked up the B12 problem a year ago, started me on injections and then stopped them. A local hospital also picked up the abnormal blood cells a few months ago and nothing was followed up. Could be a genetic condition. Fingers crossed. Love Tracy

i feel real bad in the mornings but cant stay in bed.
i definitly feel better in the evenings.
even so,im totally obsessed with cleaning, i cant stop,i was cleaning floors at midnight last night, it just has to be perfect.
when i was so ill at the beginning of my illness, i couldnt get out of bed for a few weeks and the thing i worried about the most was the housework.

Are your physicians starting to mention thalassemia? That disease is relatively rare, especially for those who are not of mediteranean origion. Vitamin B12 and/or folic acid deficiency is quite common. B12 is generally hard to absorb, and those with a candida infection of the digestive tract absorb even less. Is your copper level normal? copper deficiency can also cause anemia. are you taking a chromium supplement? Do you get enough iodine?

Dear Patty M initially like Dawn when I was first ill, I could barely do a thing and use to stay in bed most of the day, but something happens down the road of this illness, where you can become manic and obsessive, it's almost like OCD. I will take some time to get going in the mornings, especially as I am very lacking in sleep, usually about an hour a night, but then something kicks in and you just can't stop yourself.Like Dawn says everything has to be perfect, so it's not really enjoyable but more like OCD. I sometimes find myself doing a job and then going back to it later and doing it again, cos it's not just right. It's enough to drive you insane! Love Tracy x

As hard as it is, I try to go to bed by 11 or midnight at the latest, it makes a world of difference in the am. I still feel like crap, but once I get up and start to move and eat or juice asap, I feel human once more.

But I used to stay up until 4 am...mercury really screws up the circadian rhythms.

Too right Sandi, we are fighting a very tough battle, but in the end we'll get there and we'll all meet up one day and celebrate. Love and best wishes to you Tracy x
