Russ, as you said elsewhere, we have only ourselves to blame. This is democracy in a modern, industrial society: we almost all of us have so many comforts & conveniences and "freedoms" and have had them so long, that like a muscle that doesn't get used, we don't realize how weak we have become. Yes, we all here in N. Amerika are being nazified (though it's the Soviet variety) but if we can pull ourselves away from our porn & beer & TV & order-in pizza, we will get mad about it and revolt.

But I wouldn't bet the farm.
