Personally, I take Algin about 1 hour both before and after taking any kind of chelator. This way, I've got Algin in my system ready to absorb mercury from the bowels so it doesn't get re-absorbed.

Another thing I should mention is that although the bottle indicates to take the Algin with a glass of juice, I have always taken it with water, which works just as well (and also doesn't spike your blood sugar levels).
