because doctors arn't taught about mercury.
Doctors treat symptoms, not the cause of illness.
There are so many stories of people recovering from different diseases or ailments after removing their amalgams, that i suspect that doctors salary would go down a bit if people started getting better and not visiting the doc so much, its all about money!
