Why be an Anon? I don't think any sensible person would criticise what you say here. But I would also ask you to bear in mind that this is one thread, and a few posters, that seem to be upsetting people. If the unpleasantness in this specific area is upsetting then why are you reading it? I've also just written on another thread where Laura has made comments; my feeling is that there ought to be a main list that does stick very much to the topic of mercury, and another off-topic list, rather than the huge variety of other topic-specific lists here. Then when people went on the main list they would know there would be no threads like this one. I don't know what Russ would make of that but it seems to me to be a way of keeping most people happy.
