You added the level of abusrdity to that comment, (I've seen 4 year olds that counter better). All scientists play that game. Why do you think there are so many evolution researching scientists? There is no funding to search for a creator, church already has the market cornered, and their are too many sensitive areas and politics that they don't want to deal with. Evolution is popular right now (a fad), its a feild drawing money.
Are you saying that $$ and a job does not influence them? (it's what you are alluding too, though I doubt you have any real basis for saying what you do)

Sigh. OK, Claythrow. You win. A magical being in the sky created everything. He made it obvious to anyone who looks. Yet, darn it all, he STILL refuses to show his face to us. Basically, he's playing a big game, right? Show us some things and hide others. Of course, he doesn't need to be logical, he's got a plan we could never understand... though some can understand his creationist plan, but that isn't really understanding.

Look, you just go on with your "God did it all" philosophy. Why does the creator so desperately need to be acknowledged? Just go on safe in your belief, and let the 'deluded' scientists, who are actually seeking understanding, continue their pursuits?

I won't argue any more in depth with someone who actually believes in the Bible or in a personal God. It's patently embarrassing.
