This is not quite the same. You can have religious studies classes and they are labelled what they are. Problem with evolution is, it's being taught as science, which is where it gets misleading.

They are teaching a big bang theory and primordial soup when they have zero facts to go by other than their ideas. This does not belong in a science room where true science can be observed, tested, studied.

By all means have evolution in the religious studies class, nobody is against someone wishing to believe in that, but is it fair for people to pay tax dollars for people to teach kids their religion as science? Surely they can just teach science as is and leave the assumptions up to us? I know a guy that teaches science and does not really mention evolution. Just teaches science as science, no agenda at all. He does not mention creationism either. He allows the kids to think for themselves from the facts given.

Evolution so far relies on assumptions. micro evolution is fine, it's just variation within a kind. But it does not prove we came from apes or rocks or primordial soup or a big bang. We simply cannot prove this or observe it.

This is what I dont understand, what is so wrong with getting the lies out of the textbooks? Isn't this fair for kids to have honest teaching instead of hidden agendas disguised as science?

Its not bigotry to want true science.
