HI sosick, I actually typed an email to the people who make these heat pumps and I asked them to please keep my complaint "confidential". What did they do? They went straight away and told the guy who put the system in.

So now the owners of the house we live in may find out and then ask us to leave. Think of it this way, they've paid out thousands to have it put in, if they have tenents that are not using it because of "sore eyes", I cannot imagine they will be thrilled.

So the person I live with is not too happy with me right now. The reason I did it is this. If some other poor sod out there decides to get one of these systems (and doesn't know this possibility), pays it off (most of us are not rich) and then thousands of dollars later, finds out it causes sore eyes.....

At any rate, I'm not miss popular right now. I feel though that the company SHOULD know and if people dont say anything, then how does this help the company or those that buy it? I dont particualrly feel like lying either.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your suggestions and I am doing that right now. I have it going and have the windows all open. IT also seems to be playing up too. I have found today that I have it on full fan, yet it's hardly blowing any air out at all (yet was working fine yesterday).

Sometimes I wonder about these new systems. Seems more can go wrong than not.

anyway, we shall see.
