Funny thing is Jill, I dont seem to have ANY symptoms in the eyes... (except recently, we just had a heat pump system put through the house). Not sure what has caused the sudden stinging eyes, but I "assume" it's from all the drilling through paint/jib that did it (and some welding maybe) from the guys putting it in.

I cannot imagine it's anything to do with teh heat pump itself, it's only taking the heat from the fresh air outside and pumping it through the house.

Does anybody have any idea why my eyes would sting since this was put in? I'm HOPING it's just from the drilling/welding and perhaps there have been a release of very tiny particles/chemicals/metals in the air that is irritating the very sensitive membrane in the eyes.

But other than this? I have not really had eye symptoms, so that has made me have second thought sabout this formaldehye thing. Also I think formaldehye is released from yeast too apparently?? And surely most of us would show formaldehye on testing?

(The plant idea is a non toxic and totally natural answer). Though I am lazy and useless with plants (never been into them at all), I am starting to think that i am going to have to force myself a little.)
