Just to add my bit here about this. I have never had eyesight problems until I had braces on my teeth and that's when everything went haywire. Because of the extra burden of toxic metal and the galvanic responses to the amalgams present, my increase in metal toxicity must have sky rocketed and unfortunately launched me into chronic illness/toxicity, even though they were later removed.
At any rate, the mercury or it's effects (candida or both) had some very interesting and distressing effects on my eyes. Not only did I suffer with stinging and often blood shot eyes, but my vision played up. I had trouble focussing and my vision became blurry at school when trying to look from my work to the blackboard and even began to blur up when looking at road signs or just about anything. Got so bad, that sometimes the person in front of me would look quite blurry. It woudl worsen in more dimmer lighting and my night vision was near enough to being non existent.
Somehow I knew it was not my actual eyesight, but something else. I even got checked out and an eye doctor said there was something else going on. He felt my vision was ok. Weird, I don't know how he knew that. He gave me eye drops which helped a bit, but didn't cure the problem.
This was only one of many areas affected by the mercury and/or candida. Later, as my illness was not going and I was becoming suicidal with the symptoms, I finally went on a candida diet. This alone made a big different to my vision and part of that was excluding sugar and wheat/gluten. Just excluding them alone gave me my vision back, which was no doubt due to the release of the toxins it produced and some healing that must have taken place, even though I still had amalgams.
The tendency was always there and would return if I moved off my diet. Amalgam removal improved this further. Not sure whether it was mercury directly, or mercury indirectly that was causing the blurry vision, or because it allowed for pathogens to overgrow and overtake and interfere with normal functioning, or both. But certainly treating both these sources of toxicity was the remedy.
