My eyesight started to go bad about 12 years ago when I was 26. I needed glasses for reading and the computer. I was not good about wearing them, but I strained without them until about 5 years ago, when I improved my diet rather drastically - a lot of veggies and fruit (juicing). I found I no longer needed the glasses. But I did experience eye pain (severe dryness and light sensitivity) which went away after amalgam removal last summer. Now my eyes are only sore if I don't get enough sleep and even then not nearly as bad as they were before amalgam removal. I can now read for hours with no eye straining whatsoever.
