I don't have astigmatism either, just some nearsightedness. It is really good to hear about all of you actually experiencing that. Sounds so promising, I never expected it. I could feel quite a bit of mercury movement in my eye socket this afternoon, the cold icy drippy sensation, maybe time to get some more DMSA. Does anybody have a favorite brand on that? I would like to try a different one than the one I have been using.

I was thinking wearing my lenses is not helpful in that regard but I need to wear them, I will probably actually go to the eye doctor a little bit more, not less, if I notice changes to keep up with it. The contact lenses aren't expensive to keep changing prescriptions on every few months, and I like the eye doctor too, very affordable all around considering the potential outcome..

There are 4 kids in our family, all of our teeth filled pretty much the same at the same ages, between 8-14 or so. My sister, who is a year older and I, both got glasses at about the same time. My brother who is my older sister's twin and my younger sister both have a birth defect, adrenal problems, which requires them to take cortisone daily. the doctors would actually even insert slow dissolving tablets under the skin on theor backs to supplement the daily oral stuff throughout the year. Anyway, my older sister and I missed the birth defect but both wear glasses, the other two who take cortisone have great eyesight. Just something I thought I'd toss at ya because you guys discuss cortisone a lot for adrenal stuff.

Also, as a teenager my mother was always accusing me of taking drugs, she would say my eyes looked wierd, big pupils or whatever, but I never did drugs. Just have big blue eyes that are hard to miss seeing the black pupils on whereas the rest of my family have brown eyes.

Lots of floaters here too, for many years, never knew what it was. Wondered from time to time if I had parasites in my eyeballs or something. Apparently just mercury. I wore lenses back in the days when they used thimerisol in contact lense solution too. That's encouraging. I think I will mention it to the eye doctor and have her write me a prescription for a good deal less strength than her reading shows, and see what happens with that. I think I will go in next week as a matter of fact.
