<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> Thank you guys! (girls I mean) and the same back to you! I hope that post of mine earlier didn't come across smart, but I cannot understand why Huggins is making these statements??? Do you think someone should type to him about it and let him know what candida is doing to some of us?

The thing I have heard is that aggressive antifungal use can be risky in a high yeast/mercury situation (for the obvoius reasons).

My dentist here who has studied extensively in both dentistry and health for many years has found that he has got to treat most mercury patient for yeast because they are so toxic. He knows about the risks of antifungal use and gets them on a strict diet and gives a herbal antifungal which is not "too drastic". He says it's a catch 22 situation and sometimes there will be metal release from dying yeast, but unfortunately leaving a person with high yeast is not an option. He cannot treat them if their gut and liver is overloaded and cannot detox the mercury properly. This is what happened to me also. Once I got on the diet, my body began to start trying to eliminate other problems more readily.

Again, I think huggins is right re aggressive antifungal use because of how dangerous that can be, but overgrowth of yeast being helpful? He ought to try it himself sometime and see what opinion he may have then.
