Mercury causes an overgrowth of candida, which can cause constipation or diahrea. I suggest that you start taking some antifungals, cut out sugar from you diet, and reduce the amount of carbohydrates you eat.My antifungal of choice is grapefruit seed extract. Start out slowly, perhaps 3 drops in 8 ounces of water 3 times a day, then gradually increase it to 6 drops in 8 ounces of water 8 to 12 times a day. Increasing your intake of vegetables and water may help quite a bit with constipation, as wil exercise. If you load up on fiber while you have plenty of candida though, you might get very gassy. A good low fat source of fiber that has plenty of protein, vitamins and minerals is edamame. Dry roasted edamame is a good snack. It is almost like eating nuts without the huge amount of fat.
