does anybody else feel paranoid that their dentist did not remove all the mercury in their amalgams?
i had a few removed today, but i just feel paranoid. then again i've always been paranoid. this was a regular dentist so no precautions were used other than my excessive use of activated charcoal before and after. the amalgams that were removed today were pretty tiny to begin with. just just a drop or so on a few teeth. i have 2 wider amalgams that need to removed soon too. oh the paranoia.

It can and does happen especially if the dentist isnt amalgam free and doesnt see the importance of getting every last chip out, so your paranoia may not necessarily be just paranioa.

No, this isn't paranoia, this is a genuine concern because you are desperate to get healthier and to gain your life back. So you are totally reliant on the dentist to remove everything and considering so many of them are not exactly the most trustworthy people, is it any wonder you are "wondering"?
You can get a panoramic xray to check after the work to see if anything has been left behind "covered up"..

hm thanks... the panoramic xray can be at the dentist's office right? but im guessing i'll need to go to an amalgam free one... or hopefully i'll find a regular dentist who is open minded and will do a panoramic x ray using some excuses. any suggestions?

Yes. After this dentist has done the job, you can go to another one and get the xray so you can check that all has been done thoroughly and honestly.

hm so a speck or two/traces of amalgam can jeopardize my whole chelation process? oh joy. the ones i got drilled out the other day were like O <-- this big, if not a bit smaller. the ones i'll have to get out soon are like ( ), which i have two of. maybe ill think of going to a bio dentist but i'm scared they'll try to cheat me of my money and make me get rid of the other ones even if i don't need to. ugh. oh well my insurance covers the full cost of my amalgam removal at the regular dentist so it's not a big deal to get it redone i guess. maybe if i need to i'll hassle the next guy. this is taking a huge chunk out of my college funds, but i've been so sick and unwell all the time for the past 2 years.
