I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my abdomen and digestive system in general.
I've been chelating for around a year now and I have problems with my gut (which have always been there, just to a lesser extent) including occasional extreme pain when eating and always an enlarged abdomen that often hurts. My abdomen is also very hard, like it's full of gas - it does not feel like normal fat.
I've had my colon checked and that's fine.
I was wondering if this is a common occurrence with yeast infections? I'm trying to kill that before I start chelating again you see.
Thanks.

are you a woman? if yes, you may want to rule out ovarian cancer (don't mean to be a fearmonger, but it's just smart to be aware of OV, and one of its early symptoms can be bloated belly).

It probably is gas, although due to the gas and candida your body might also not be eliminating solid waste completely. I suggest that you try taking grapefruit seed extract. Start out slowly, perhaps 3 drops in 8 ounces of water(stir well) 3 times a day, then gradually increase it to 6 drops in 8 ounces of water 6-8 or so times a day.

To the first replier: I'm male. But thanks anyway.
To the second: I think it is gas, or at least half-gas, not ruling out the whole candida thing. I occasionally get gas which is really quite less pleasant than what one would normally associate with gas. I often get constipation, too.
I'll try the grapefruit seed extract. Thanks.

about 3 yrsago, i was so bloated i looked nine months pregnant, i couldnt breath, i thought i was dying. I had to go on the candida diet. it is a way of life to me now. Dont take any antifungals until you have done the diet for at least 6 wks. you could have problems otherwise.

I don't think 6 weeks on the diet is necessary to do first before antifungals, however one should eliminate sugar, alcohol, and fruit from the diet. Later small amounts of not so sweet fruit could be added back to the diet.

I like grapefruit seed extract. I also like putting garlic or cinnamon on my food. Some people might tell you that they have had a bad reaction to garlic. I also like to eat vegetarian hot and sour soup.

Mercury causes mutations to intestinal flora (friendly bacteria). These mutated bacteria eat the intestinal lining leading to IBS and eventually, allergies. This is why many autistic children have IBS and general digestive issues and eventually have to go on special allergy diets.
Mercury interferes with digestive enzyme production causing heartburn, gas, bloating, and other digestive issues.
Used Olive leaf to get rid of candida felt so much better in just days.
