Hi guys I'm going for this, Wednesday / Thursday. A little nervous, but do want to get it done. Anyone else had this and what were, if any, side effects - symptoms after. Thanks Tracy

I had a challenge test that used DMSA. The 24 hour urine sample without it (pretest) showed that my mercury was lower then the "norms". Mine was <1 and anything >4 is considered a problem. However, after taking the DMSA and then collecting the urine, my mercury level was 14. Very High!! I actually felt pretty good that day. Did your doctor say why he/she was using EDTA?

No it's a private hospital where I first got diagnosed. I don't know if they use DMSA but they know I've tried to chelate with it and got pretty ill so maybe thats why. Encouraging that your results showed it up. Makes it worthwhile Thanks Tracy

Hope that was the problem then. I've had all mine removed. Still pretty scared though. I've got 100 miles to travel home afterwards. This is all so hard isn't it. Its like your doomed if you don't and taking risks if you do. Thanks anyway Tracy x

My amalgams were all out when I took the test as well.

Tracy, maybe you could take lots of VIT C right afterwards? I remember Russ posting that after he had an DMPS IV that he had a VIT C drip afterwards and this helped enormously. Gabriella

Step by step, that's how you achieve success.
