I took something called Detox Max with EDTA every other week for 4 months. It really helped me. I later added in DMSA and then had to stop chelation all together. I think it was to much for me. It has been 4 months sinse I stopped and my adrenal glands are still not up for starting it again.

The edta is a capsule and the others are drops. Dr C K Blesius gave them to me after blood, urine and hair test. He gave me Antox, Sam E, JRA, different L vitamins, Chlorella, different minerals. He gave me seven injections. He put me on a near Atkins diet. Lots of green tea. Mentally I am much better. Physically about the same. It has been seven months. My tremor has moved from my hand up and back down my arm. I have had warming sensations in my hand and foot. It is weired

Interesting. I am using a combination of Liposomal EDTA and oral DMSA. I'm using the EDTA inplace of ALA, since the liposomal form gets into tissures, cells and the brain, but the DMSA, captures any mercury released from the brain or nervous system from the EDTA. It seems to be working fine and I have no retox symptoms. Since the liposomal EDTA remains active for 48 hours, I stop using it 48 hours before I stop the oral DMSA, to avoid redistribution of Hg.

Chigirl:
Have you tried low doses of the DMSA or DMPS to chelate? I didn't see a dosage amount, but Andy Cutler protocol suggests 12.5 mgs to begin with, 3 months post all amalgam removal adding ALA.
I ask because I too, have adrenal issues and noticed that the low, low doses have been tolerable. It's been easier to chelate with the DMPS because you can take it every 8 hrs, versus every 4 hrs with DMSA.
Just a thought...

Step by step, that's how you achieve success.
