Hi Kaw, I'm not sure exactly what happened. I got my last amalgams replaced in about mid 1997. Had a intial worsening, followed by improvement (almost remission of symptoms). Then about a year after all the symptoms returned and I went through hell detoxing the stored mercury that was obviously deciding to erupt.
So that forced me into an ongoing cycle of symptoms, some that were utterly unbelieveable. Then I began to improve after about 2 years of detoxing.
But I made a terrible mistake of watering down my mascara to make it more moist. Instead of buying a new one, I'd water it down when it got dry. This is a bad move because it can cause a bacteria to develop.
But I had gotten away with it in the past...not so this time. I used it and developed a severe eye infection. This infection was so bad that I would hold a damp cloth to my eyes for much of the day and often in tears.
The infection then spread from the eyes into the brain (I went off balance, slurred my words and had trouble reading and writing for a time). I had chill like sensations moving through my head area and then from there it spread into the rest of my body causing a permanent chronic condition. I have now got exercise intolerance and a weakened immunity and I believe a damaged blood brain barrier. I now cannot handle any exposure to toxins and immediately absorb them and cannot eliminate them properly. They cause almost immediate brain symptoms. This is something I never had previous to this infection.
From there anything began to affect me and I got even worse after some further dental work. Two older composites redone in newer stuff (which I believe maybe toxic to me), plus wisdom teeth removal. From there, I am pretty much chronically ill.
I've told this a few times on here, so I'm sure it gets annoying to hear it again, but just wanted to pass that on so you'd know my situation. I am also now so tired and unmotivated, I really dont go out or do anything.
I stupidly smoked a load of cigarettes a few months ago (at someone's house) and that has made me very ill, so lately I am just worse. I dont normally smoke, but would have the odd cigarette. But I really did it this time and once again the toxins go in, dont come out. If they do come out, it is so slow I dont notice and months can go by wtih barely any improvement.
Very odd, but that is how I live now. I also battle ongoing yeast problems because of all this. So one thing tends to offset another.
But yes I do have dry eyes these days and fatigue...dont really have aching teeth though.... possibly the composites "may" be contributing, but I think anything now will make me ill because I have no real resistance or health.
