There are tests your doctor can order for yeast/candida problems. I had them done. Labs like Great Smokies and Metametrix offer these tests. In any event, mercury definitely causes candida yeast. When my candida levels came back really high, I took some anti-yeast supplements, e.g. caprylic acid and olive leaf extract, and I avoided all foods containing yeast, e.g. bread, and you must scrupulously avoid sugar, as sugar will keep feeding the yeast and keep it alive. If you do this for 6 months to one year, depending on how much you have, you will get rid of it. Dairy is also not good for yeast.
example of a good anti-yeast diet
a.m. hard boiled eggs lunch: salad with some chicken or meat or fish dinner: turkey with vegetables and salad
snacks: almonds, popcorn
