I heard that ALA is not necessarily good, that is, not all people have the same reaction to this product, so what works for one person may not benefit another. The only supplement that I am comfortable with right now is ALGIN since it has no side effects, it helps eliminate metals through normal elimination channels and eases the symptoms. I really don't feel like making myself feel any sicker than I already do at this stage. Therefore I would be careful when recommending supplements to others as we are not all at the same level of toxicity and stage of mercury poisoning and our bodies may have very different reactions to the same supplement. Or when recommending it is helpful to state that side effects may occur. Russ is always very good with pointing out the benefits and the down sides of detox protocols and I find this very useful in making my own decisions.
