This happens to me everytime. Maybe about an hour or so after eating my neurological pains - tingling, burning etc - get worse. It doesnt seem to matter what I eat. Any ideas/theories what might be going on?
Thanks

I have a theory that it could be simply to do with the action of chewing. Releasing/encouraging further mercury release from the amalgams and/or the jaw itself from the grinding/movement.
Mercury also collects in the jawbone apparently.

Could be. I wonder if it helped if I took algin with food... I have a theory that it could be simply to do with the action of chewing. Releasing/encouraging further mercury release from the amalgams and/or the jaw itself from the grinding/movement.

Algin may well help. It is something that one can take with or without amalgams apparently and for some it can be quite a life saver.
Do you get these effects from drinking hot fluids? (after consuming them?). Because they too increase the uptake of mercury from fillings.
Again I am not aware of your situation, whether or not you have fillings/ how many etc....
But certainly it would beinteresting to work out whether this is food or the action of chewing itself. PIty you couldn't take all your food through a straw, so you'd know! (well just for a day or something). I know that is not realistic.

I have 5 fillings. I rarely drink anything hot so it's difficult to say about that. That straw thing would be interesting to test..

Nope, not much usually.
I must say though that today I have had the awful nerve pains the whole day... and any electricity (like this computer) make it worse.. oh how much I wish I would find a solution to this horrible symptom...

Hi Finn, the solution maybe amalgam removal (safely done). Whenever you chew anything you are increasing the uptake of mercury into your system. Computer screens apparently do react with toxins. All sorts of things can happen.
I dont think you will be able to stop this unless you remove the source of the problem. Algin "may" help some of it, but I would personally think about a removal.

I agree with bex ,safe removal of your 5 alamgams is going to be your best course of action at this point ,also the reason that your symtoms feel worse after eating is possibly that your liver is having a hard time matabolizing any nutreints after you eat ,( I have the same problem)mercury can do some crazy stuff to your liver but this is all reversable after amalgam removal and detox ,milk thistle is very good for the liver and can also regenerate old or dead liver cells ( it's pretty amazing stuff)

Thanks for your thoughts Bex and Heavymetalme,
Yes I think the removal is necessary. I plan to start it on 30 July. I'm just worried about the procedure because I'm now so weak and ill. I think I will just have one filling removed first and see how I react.
Yes milk thistle is good, I have been using it for 6 months.

Hi Finn, you're welcome.
personally I would get two amalgams done at one session. The whole procedure with the anaesthetic and all the preparation seems a lot if you're only getting one done at once. Sometimes the best way to get it done is by the dentist numbing on area of the mouth (e.g. lower left side or what side he decides to remove first) and then for him/her to remove the amalgams in that particular quadrant in one session.
It's up to you, I understand how you feel but bear in mind you will already be exposed to mercury vapor in the office itself and the anaesthetic is also not healthy. Wouldn't you prefer to get two or so out in one session? rather than expose yourself to all that, and go through the whole preparation of numbing to just do one?
however, that is your decision and whatever you feel more comfortable with. I do understand your feelings.

Yes Bex you might be right. It also depends on the electricity test that the dentist does because I want to get that filling out first which is "leaking" the most. If there is no other amalgams in that quadrant, I guess I will just have that one removed. But if there is another one, that one will have to go at the same time.
Last time she checked the worst filling was a "lonely one" though.

Ohhh ok, I see now! Well, it'll be the best one to start with seeing as its a leaky one. You say you have five amalgams altogether....that is actually not "too" bad (though really even one is too much when you think about it).
But many have up to 8 or more. I hope that the one (or two) goes well for you so you'll be able to get the rest done with some confidence.

Imo it sounds like it is probably candida. Are you taking any antifungals? if not, then I suggest you try grapefruit seed extract. See the thread I started on grapefruit seed extract.
Have you eliminated sugar and alcohol from your diet? Are you on a low carb diet? If not, then you might want to try these.
