I know, some people seem to be ok with amalgams, OR they get them out and seem to recover normally. Which is what we all wish we had.
I do not know why some people are so badly affected and others seem to defy that and have normal lives. But again, they may well have better functioning systems that we have, or they are not so much reactive to mercury as we are.
It is very hard to find out why some get this and others do not. It also comes down to overall toxic load, genetics, weaknesses and lots of things come into play as to why a person succumbs to the mercury contain in their amalgams. Whereas before they may have been coping just fine.
Why can some people work with mercury daily in a factory and another cannot even enter a dental office without becoming poisoned? It is down to tolerance and toxic load and immune status I believe. But regardless of this, mercury should never ever be used in a human being at all. It is a known potent neurotoxin, so it's inexcusable that it was ever introduced into dentistry! Lucky are those that have a body system that can seem to cope. Unlucky are those of us who did not.
