Thank you to all those that responded. Thanks Russ your suggestions and for providing a great forum for discussing mercury and dental amalgam issues.

Just a quick update. I am going to have my last two amalgams replaced tomorrow (Monday). Then on Tuesday, I have an appointment to visit my GP. I am going to request tests for heavy metal absorption and toxicity. From what I have read, mercury stays in your bloodstream for 2-5 days. I'm hoping that any mercury that was absorbed into my system will be visible if I am tested right after the removal process. I'll post back my findings.

One good thing is that I am much better prepared and more informed for my amalgam removals this time around. Thank you all!
