Boldyloxx, thanks for all the advice. I've looked at a lot of past posts here now and see your name quite a bit. It's great to hear you've done so well.. I'm not sure how/where I'd get a colonic here in the UK, have to look into that. I've been doing this on my own because I don't trust my doctor to believe that mercury could be a problem. I don't trust him anymore, period. I was poisoned by the antidepressants he kept giving me. If I knew I could get his help in doing all this on the NHS I would, but I don't think that's very likely.

I do have a good supplement regime, I've been on it for over a year. Just recently added vitamin E and selenium as per the advice here. They'll do me good I'm sure. And I take 9 grams or more of vitamin C every day. My immune system isn't in great shape and I seem to need that much.

I've posted some comments on the forum about how my chelation is going. It's really hard to get a feel for it because the underlying depression is there and it's got worse lately, possibly due to amalgam removal, possibly due to SAD (it's been dismal here for weeks), goodness knows. I was hoping to take the "natural" route but I'm going to give DMSA a go starting at 25mg, do the 4-hour dosage thing, see if it helps. I still don't know how much of a problem mercury is for me. I could be depressed because of my life circumstances.

Russ, victory!! My husband has agreed that the best thing for our daughter is not to have any more vaccinations. We can't erase what's been done already, but we can make the right decisions from this point on. It took an awful argument though, and him threatening to walk out. But I gather it was more due to my attitude that I knew what was right and was making him feel disempowered in decisions regarding our daughter. It's aggrevating but at least we've got it settled now, and I know how to press more diplomatic buttons in the future. I still have to convince him that his diet is going to make him ill, but that's another issue entirely, and I think the most I can do there is get well myself and set a good example.

I'm aware of Dr. Tenpenny's work. I did loads of research on vaccines and learned so much. It may sound odd but I'm thankful for my illness, because I've had blindfold after blindfold ripped off me, and each new layer of the truth has stunned me. I wouldn't have learned the truth about vaccines, and for that matter I wouldn't have learned about the importance of diet and supplements, if I hadn't been damaged by the antidepressant and joined a healing forum, and I wouldn't have taken the antidepressant if light therapy had worked, and I wouldn't have done light therapy if I hadn't been depressed . . . it's been quite an odyssey LOL.

This is a fantastic forum, I keep learning more and more as I delve around <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Thanks again for the support.
