Gosh, I was thinking today... When I was 18 or so I use to use a heat gun to melt old paint and varnish off of the door casings and baseboards at my parents house. I must have been removing 10 if not more layers or paint and varnish off of a 150 year old house. What do you suppose was my level of exposure? I'm thinking yeah I had over 10 mercury filling in my mouth over the past 35 years but wonder what all that paint peeling did to my brain and body. Can't be good???? Anyone else ever done this? Veg

ummm lead, the source of many of my problems... cadmium, gee whiz the number of toxins, heavy metals in paints and varnishes are endless, and just think you were heating and vaporizing and creating new more volatile compounds with them. amazing they sell stuff like like for home use, heat gun paint removers what an invention for kids to play with.
though i only tried a heat gun once hated it, very slow and smelly. How did you stand it? Used the chemical removers a few times,, very volatile. I most always used a respirator too and I still have plenty in my blood just from being around so much of it.
I found better work to do after that.
Cilantro is a good chelator, ALA helps clear your liver. Reading a book exercises your brain.
Yogi detox tea works wonders.
