I'm a fellow acne sufferer. As far as I can reason mercury has little to do with acne, directly. Mercury has a lot to do with acne indirectly. I think that the acne related to mercury poisoning is caused by poorly functioning adrenals. Our adrenals are functioning poorly because of mercury in our pituitary gland. The pituitary sends signals to the adrenals (and other important glands) to function and produce hormones. It seems that when the pituitary is poisoned by mercury it does not send the message as well.
Acne, fatigue, digestive problems, depression, social anxiety seem to be some of the symptoms that show up often in this condition.
I have been using bentonite clay on my face and I find that helps. I bought the clay dry and apply a tiny amount of it moistened to my face to help dry my oily skin. The whole topic of clay as a chelator is controversial but as far as I am concerned applying clay to your skin or taking clay baths DOES remove mercury. I believe that quite strongly. I recommend using the application to skin method I mentioned.
-Good luck
