No, I actually haven't done any chelation.
My symptoms have been almost all relieved simply by supplementation. That's why I asked the question - it's possible that my problems were from some deficiency. B vitamins in particular seem to be the ones that make a difference.
In addition to my 5 amalgams (gone now a month), I was doing 2 things that were bad. First, I was eating a VERY monotonous diet, nearly the same things every single day for over a year. They were healthy in themselves - yoghurt, turkey, chicken, broccoli, spinach - but very restricted.
Also, I was jogging 3x a week over a very busy bridge, where auto fumes were going right into my lungs for a 3 mile run. Oh, and I also got a thimerosol-laced flu shot in November.
Anyway, as I said, the supps give me very good relief. My question is though, am I just addressing symptoms. Do I still need to chelate if my symptoms are controlled?
