Would you believe I ve just been speaking to a local GP who came to see me (hes not mine unfortunately!) and he actually asked if I d had my Mercury levels checked lately when I explained about my tooth. I said but most GPs dont believe it comes from amalgams and he said oh believe me the're starting to! Why the hell cant they all be like that. He said basically very soon it wil all be out in the open. Hugs Tracy

Hi Tracy
Here's hoping that GP awareness will come soon. I just want everyone around me, including friends who walked away, to know that this is a real illness, not one I am making up for whatever reason. I mean, why would someone go on the most miserable diet, stop socialising, swallow supplements, wake up every 3 hours to chelate, become housebound, depressed, irritable etc when there's so much fun to be had living a normal life?! Why would we do that for years on end if we're faking it? I think I remember reading somewhere that the profile of someone with full blown amalgam illness was similar to that of someone with late stage Aids.
Tracey - are you out of hospital now? Are you a bit better? What did they say?

Am out of hospital, they were useless and pretty nasty. They thought I was making ait all up and told me I was lazy. It was a waste of time cos I didnt get tested for C=DIF I came out by the GP which luckily I dont have. Its weitd I can have bursts when I feel almost human and then bang I change so quickly and just want to cry and dont feel like I belong in this world. I just wish th GP I saw today was mine, he was very kind and didnt even question the Mercury issue, he said I must get someone to check my levels. I have a new GP now as the other one was a b*****y waste of space, but I cant change cos the other guy lives out of town, altough I could ask him to contact him. I cant belive that he was so knowledgable about Mercury. He even said my infected tooth probably sent the bacteria to my spine and brain. Im going to make equires at another hospital where I was diagnosed with ME cos now they have a special unit and I want to know what tests they carry out. I think your right guys this is the wort possible illness in the world, mostly cos your suffering physically and mentally and people just think your bonkers. Its crazy my daughter came home and we were eating dinner and she was talking to Keith and all of a sudden I felt so far away just like I didnt belong and all of a sudden the thought came into my head how nice it would be to go to the sea and keep on swimming till you know you cant get back. Where the hell does it all come from? I actually did that last year it took me nearly all day to get there and i booked into a bed and breakfast and just sat on my own on the beach. It was so peacful, then the next day went home. Dont think I d have the guts or energy to do it now! And ay Jinx I hope your right, they need to get a b****y move on before its too late for some of us. Stll at least the seas getting warmer. It was weird when I was there I even went for dinner but I remember thinking well if I go nuts who the hell knows me round here anyway. And your so right Nicola Ive lost so many friends and family now. My dad has left my mum again and she still has C-DIF they cant do anything else. God I hope the doctors right and it does come out, he seem to be saying that they already know about Mercury poisoning from amalgams so I suppose we'll just have to keep fightin for now till they open somewhere for us to go and we can all be mad-Hatters together. Take you too and keep in touch, be thinking of you hugs Tracy

I talk to a Austrian lady that said 15 yrs ago a doctor in Germany told her to remove her amalgams or her unborn baby would die! She had them removed and her daughter was ok! I know there are Dr out there but how to find them? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Thats the hundred dollar question at the moment but all I know is this doctor to be pretty sure that its all gonna come out very soon and the the s""t will really hit the fan. He wasnt just kidding from what he said its gonna happen pretty soon,so hang on in there. I couldnt believe either, he knew all abut it and cavitatins, bacteria and stuff. It was almostlike he was saying doctors had been warned about this epidemicic to come and he was a very straight forward guy. So Im keeping my fingers crossed, you may not have to find one soon. maybe theyll have the knowledge good luck and best wishes Tracy

HI Tracy, have been thinking of you and so glad you're back!!! Very sorry to hear of your ordeal and that things (like many of us) are as bad as ever healthwise. Related to so much of what you said too. It's amazing that the one doctor actually believes in this, but the problem is they test for it and have no idea how to test for it, so the mercury toxic person typically gets a test that shows nothing or little and they're no longer believed. It's never normally a true indication of what is really going on. So though some maybe believing in it, they are testing it in the wrong way.
I had two doctors here that believed in it but tested me as the typical testing goes and then stated I didn't have it. When the entire type I was poisoned up the eyeballs. I chelated it out myself pretty much over the years. Got worse during the chelation, but it was the only way to get it out for me because either it wasn't happening or it was far too slow.
Also amalgams should NEVER be removed whilst someone is pregnant apparently. That is very dangerous because there is always a tremendous increase in exposure to it and the unborn baby, so I'm bewildered by why a dentist would do that or recommend that.

It wasn't a dentist it was a OB/GYN who said it!

sorry about that. But from what Ive heard any dental work should be avoided during pregnancy....drilling or drilling out.

Tracy darlin, I had ta move to the beach to feel half human. ( maybe that's ma prollem, half human half what?) I can have me the worst day ever an go down to the sea an it's like the whole fresh sea air does a cleansing job on me. It is truly remarkable, when I gotta go inta towns or London, it's like havin a bag a cement tied to ma ankles, not to mention the head crapola. I'm thinkin some a that is exposure to the toxic soup we call urban life. But ya got me wondrin, ya still got some bad teeth in there, Tracy? Don't lose touch with that doc, neither, maybe he can reccomend some other doctor closer to y'all, anaways, it's encouragin and we'd all love ya to get better. Sorry for your troubles.

He cant help me cos hes not my doc and to be honest things are moving so rapidly now I dont think Ive got a chance. But thankyou all for your kind thoughts. iM so lucky I found this forum and met such beautiful people all suffering, which none of you deserve. Life just seems like a game to me now, and boy did we all get the short straw. I am truly grateful to have known you all, and I do feel like I know you even if we havnt met. I dont believe in God but I hope there is somewhere we can all meet up some day. There has to be something better than this. I truly love you all, more than the best friends Ive ever had. Bless you all and good luck, I wish I could give each and every one of you a hug. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTracy

Hi Tracy, can you not make him your doctor? Here we just change doctors if we wish to if we are not satisfied with our own.....
I know things are very bad for you though and sometimes even if you DO have a doctor that believes, how much more can they do for us when we have already been through the mill? Irrespective of that, I hope you can change to him.
I am sorry that you, like Jinx, myself and others on here that seem not to be getting anywhere can hold on somehow. It's unreal that some just seem to go from one nightmare to another.
Thanks so much for being here for me and others. Hugs back to you and take care! Hope you stay on here though or at least get on if/when you ever can.
Luv Bex.

If you feel better at the beach maybe its because of the negative ions and perhaps you should get a negative ion generator.I don't need one since I step out my door on to the beach in L.A.
