I just found out that some dentists will replace your amalgam with a white filling that is 60% aluminum - another neurological substance

Empress I & II and Targis are suppose to be okay-but do some research

I just gave up and had my dentist use her own proprietary filling material, made out of Uranium 235, Plutonium, Cadmium, Lead and Arsenic.

I feel pretty good about it.

My dentist suggested pvc, chlorine and formaldehyde, with some petro chemicals mixed in to increase adhesion.

I am thinking about it, it's overwhelming me. I am going to go out and suck on the exhaust pipe of a city bus for a while just for fun and then try to spend some more time thinking about it.

rofl

I'd like to introduce my old dentist to this and see if he'd like to try it in his own mouth.

(whoops! was that out loud?)

It's ok when it's in your mouth, it's really just a problem in the environment.

Which is why I like to suck on the tail pipes of buses. You put your mouth on that and it's really ok, it even helps the environment because it's in your mouth now. We could do a lot for global warming by teaching this method to others.

Funny yeah. Funny thing is, it's all true. Dentists actually use all of those materials in your mouth.

I think there is probably a special place reserved in hell for dentists. A place to do accumulative and reciprocal time for all the pain and suffering they have caused to others.

Modern dentistry was surely born in hell, surely it will return there.

I read an older post on here by Russ about mercury being used by witch doctors in voodoo. It put an interesting light on the subject. You may have already read it, but here is where it is

according to the history channel ,during lewis and clark exposition a long time ago murcury was used to fight off certain illnesses ,parasites ,researchers could trace there route by maps , but the strange thing was that they found high mercury levels at all there camp sights probably from human waste and urin ,so the half life of mercury is much more than we have been told , we have been told 30 years but if they are finding mercury readings from hundreds of years ago this is not a good thing ,just glad all my amalgams are out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, when you consider they have lined us all up as patients and filled us with mercury....perhaps we should line them up against a wall and fill them with lead

Ok I guess that was uncalled for and hey, there are some truly good and devoted dentists out there.....somewhere....

I don't blame most dentists.

I DO blame and loathe those smirking, smarmy ones I read online, defending the use of mercury and mocking anyone who tries to explain how disastrous it is.

But the normal dentist... I don't blame them. They're just ploughing ahead, heedless, but essentially just ignorant.

The ones I blame, the ones I hate, are the ADA types and the moral-less researchers they hire to claim amalgam is safe.

I's analagous to Iraq for me. I don't blame the ordinary soldiers out on patrol. The ones who commit atrocities - yeah, i blame them. But even then, I feel they are somewhat less culpable than the evil people who sent them to war for gain. The administration. The defense contractors. The oil companies. THEY are the true evil ones.

If the ADA turned around and banned amalgam, dentists would happily do the right thing - simply because they're told to. These people are not scientists or thinkers, they're just technicians.

the ironic thing about most dentists is that they will stick there head in the sand over the whole amalgam issue but when it comes down to it ,they are the ones that are getting the most exposure out of all of us, the last few dentists that I had seen in the military (military dentists can only use amalgam because it is the cheapest for the government to purchase) looked much older than there age ,they didn't look healthy what so ever and most of the time they seemed very depressed with there jobs ,they should be the ones that are beating the drum the loudest

It was fantastic reading this thread guys, the whole lot of us laughed out loud. The parts of your brain that controls sense of humour is still working fantastically. Perhaps we should all become stand up commedians. Lets face it Elvis you've already got the suit. Bex I think yours is a great idea but would we find a wall long enough? Maybe the Great Wall of China, In fact we could save all our Mercury fillings and use them as ammunition. Definately count me in. Sucking on bus pipes, well each to their own, its getting a bit risque now LOL. God you guys if we all suvive this, we have got to get together, it would be amazing. Love to you all Tracy

I do blame dentists.

If so many doctors/scientists are aware of the issues with mercury, I find it difficult if not impossible to believe that dentists are unaware of the issues also. When they make you sick they play dumb because they know they can, it is apparently that simple for them because the ADA backs them in it. It has become quite apparent to me that dentists are in business for the money only, they have no real concern for the health of their patients and they do not ever admit mistakes. Aside from the pretense of ignorance about mercury (and other materials they use for the sake of their own convenience, forget your health), dentists also seem to lack basic working knowledge of biology altogether. And yet here they are, drilling peoples'teeth, cutting their gums, doing all sorts of who knows what in peoples' mouths and causing them all sorts of health issues in the process. And we call them health professionals.

What a joke. If they get away with it all it's only because the ADA and the dental licensure boards are aware of the fact of the incompleteness of their education and have have given them a nod to just go ahead and practice anyway.

A lot of people have health issues caused by bad dentistry. It's a barbaric profession for the most part. Dentists themselves have health issues from the work they do, dental assistants have issues, and they coninue to plough ahead anyway, creating the same and worse issues in their clients. Yes, they are ignorant, but it's not innocent ignorance by any means.

All that chelatin, welp, it's great it works for ya, but it seems to ma mind like puttin fancy clean (an expensive) water inta a lead lined well.
I know we have our differnces but bein mad is stoppin ya from trustin that someone can tackle the real issue which is the scrap heap in your mouth. Chelate all ya want but ya ain't gonna chelate out the source. An I thought ya liked to save money?

I don't know Elvis, maybe you still have mercury issues after doing amalgam removal because you are puttin fancy clean (an expensive) water inta a lead lined well.

If you'd like to hand over about 5 thousand bucks I'll go and do the mercury removal asap. That'll get me about halfway through.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to scrape those few pennies together after the cost of the dentists that poisoned me over the winter and the subsequent Dr bills to heal from that episode.

No offence taken.

I was just thinkin with your anger towards dentists,it ain't in your best interests if it stops ya from movin forwards, maybe iffen ya found a good one an approached the person with the idea a them makin ya well,y'all might get one a your miracles.
Sometimes its all about the mindset fore things can happen for the best, an thats what I wish for ya.

Sure, understandable, sort of. But it's exactly that mindset that caused me, and obviously many others, to be injured by dentists. They intentionally misinform and it''s a big problem.

Hi,
I must have some degree of brain damage.
I thought some of the things said were hilarious, yes I know it's insanity because it's true.
This whole thing is ludicrously insane.

I never before thought to question where the dental materials came from,or anasthetics. How did you find out,is it posted on here? And I would like to know more about the anasthetics,do you have ?know where I can get more info. on this?
I managed to get my 9 fillings replaced with no anasthetic,I am terrified of it,and because I've been so sensitive feel I'd have an adverse reaction to it.
None for me thanks

Well I read a while back about some dental lab that claimed to make their crowns and inlays on premises in California but they were actually having them made in China (cheaper, ask why, cheaper labor yeah of course, cheaper materials junk) so one can assume they were just the ones that got caught and then of course I have been reading about this all week:

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/31/w...p;partner=MYWAY&pagewanted=print

...and then of course we should all know by now that just about everything these days has something in it that was manufactured cheaply in China and lables mean nothing..

Seriously, I had really high lead levels as well as mercury after dental work. Of course I worked with lead based paints for years, was always careful though, and haven't worked with that stuff in over 10-15 years and my health was always real good up until the dental work which I could swear tasted like lead, a burnt sweet really obnoxious taste which did not go away until I had the darn crap removed. It was really funny. I went there in said to them,'get this crap out of my mouth'... the dental assistant freaks and yells at me 'it's not crap it's a filling!' gee whiz what a moron is all I thought. Crap. C-R-A-P.

What I cannot figure out, is why is it ok for dentists to use cheap materials and pretend they are ok but it's illegal for me to write them a bad check and pretend it's ok? Same thing right? They pretend their work is ok, I pretend my check is ok, we're even far as I can tell. I didn't write a bad check to a dentist but I definitely should have. I did stop payment on one though, they wouldn't let me out the door without paying even though I felt immendiately that paying them was a mistake. they didn't argue about the stop payment though. Funny indeed, like they knew that 2 or 3 days later there would be a problem. I gave them the check, went home and straight to my bank and stopped payment immediately.

That worked well. Let them sue me instead of vice versa, good luck. Thing is with dentists, they are very hard to sue, you need a medical expert right? well same for them, they need a medical expert to prove their work is good. Keep that in mind.

Sosick,
you sound like a strong person. For most of my life I never stood up for myself, did not know my rights. If a dentist told me as a teenager that he was putting yet another filling that happens to contain mercury into my mouth ,I would not have questioned him at all,I would have presumed that he knew what he was doing, and would have trusted him.
I am 28now,this changed for me when I was 21 years old.Suddenly a fog lifted that was clouding my judgement &keeping me docile.
At the time I was trying to get through my final year in college,I specialised in ceramics/sculpture.It was a new college course &the lab for glazes was non existant, which meant that the toxic powder glazes were in bags haphazardly stored all over the studio where all of us students worked,I did not know at the time about the toxic nature of glazes &actually did not use them for my work that year(or ever since)but because the studio was freezing &students complained they gave us hot air blow heaters on the walls, this of course blew the glaze powder in the tiniest
particles all over us &in us.Well to top it off we all came out in an itchy rash, under one of the roof heaters was a large sheet of censored fibreglassas well .our eyes &ears were wrecked.
None of us had realised the cause of this at that point.
When I figured out what was happening,I told them I was not staying/working here in these conditions,I got help to move my sculpture & moved it to the main entrance to the college were I continued my work, the class followed 1by 1 .It took a few weeks of meetings with all kinds of people in suits, health &safety etc,I even got threatened by 1 of the lecturers when there was no one else there.his job was on the line after all.
Within weeks they had a proper ventilated glaze lab,a lab technician, etc etc.I graduated &got the hell out of there.
It's possible that part of my health problems are still due to the exposure to those chemicals, back in college.Lead being one of them.

I have no idea why I'm telling you this story,I find it so much easier when I'm sick,so low in energy not to stand up to these people. But I am a very righteous person &will not tolerate lies .When I am a bit stronger &thinking more clearly I will let my dentist know what I have been through, maybe I will write my story.
Now I question as much as I can,but it's a two way thing ,you need someone to answer.

ps Did you really say"get this crap out of my mouth!"??
See I think &believe it's crap, but when it comes to the crunch,I'm all polite in a confrontational situation, that is not to say I would let them do what they like to me,I am extremely fussy about the dentists/doctors I see now.I have to feel they are sympathic/understanding &that they believe in what they are doing.Usually it seems to be the ones who have suffered the same way themselves or had a loved one suffer.
Thanks Sosick.

yeah, 'get this crap out of my mouth'.. 'get YOUR crap out of my mouth' 3 or 4 times I had to tell them quite directly before they would concede.

It takes a very unconscionable person to do what they do on a daily basis so you really do have to make demands to get what you need. They don't think very much obviously and don't care very much about people either. If you don't tell them, TELL THEM, they certainly won't get any fresh ideas themselves. They care about their wallets, they care about themselves. And personally, I don't think ignorance should be allowed as an excuse.

Ceramic glazes contain a lot of lead and other junk don't they? You probably know more about heavy metal toxicity than most dentists or dental assistants too. I do not have any evidence that they are ever taught these things in school but you probably were. It boggles the mind to think how many times I was taught to never ever use certain materials in certain ways but I go to dentists and they are just plopping the stuff into people's mouth's left and right.

You really should be taking EDTA, even in oral form is better than nothing if you can't do IV chelation, which can get expensive. And you should definitely be eating cilantro at least twice a week. Big handfuls of it. Helped me a lot. A LOT. I have a great cilantro pesto recipe if you need one. Takes lots of vitamin C too, an ascorbic acid type. And don't swallow your spit when you cough junk up, send it to the toilet.

This is wishful thinking : raw foodists and other health gurus claim that fillings can pop out and teeth regrow with a superfood lifestyle etc. I actually support raw foodists and their movement just so you know and i am not criticising them, just saying that this might be an exaggeration.

However, there are two sides to every arguement and it might be true.

I currently eat 1 to 2 grams of dulse a day in a salad and have not heard a single peep from that tooth in weeks.

I would love for my teeth to pop their fillings and grow back! Does the kind of filling matter? How long does it take?
