I am now coming up on 36 months of mainly natural chelation after having the mother lode of gold crowns over amalgams removed. I have tried DMPS and EDTA but I herxed too badly. Ditto for massage and acupuncture. I am having a DDI hair test next week to compare with my first one of 18 months ago. I also want to get blood work done up here in Canada. I do follow this and other Yahoo forums quite closely. But I would like anyone's opinion as to what tests they found useful. By the way,Russ, I have made a Microsoft word document of symptom changes I have noticed. There are many improvements. Will Microsoft Word attach if I send it by separate e-mail; or should it be in a PDF format which I do not know how to do. I am not 100% cured but I sure can function way better. Thanks all. Al

Dear ALCAN: My naturopath had me do tests through two labs: DDI - Red Blood Cell Elements -- This measured regular elements (calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc, etc) and toxic elements (arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, thallium). Bio Health Diagnostics -- Renal function, electrolyte screen, liver function screen, bone and mineral screen, thyroid screen, coronary risk screen, anemia screen, complete blood count, celiac/gluten sensitivity enteropathy screen, cortisol serum and auto-immune screen. I dont' know if you have a good naturopath and doctor, but I can recommend mine to you. You live approx. 1 hr. 10 min. from Temecula, which is where I am located. My doctor and naturopath run the Stillpoint Wellness Center for Integrative Medicine center in Temecula, website: www.mystillpoint.com They are familiar with and are very open to treating according to Andy Cutler's protocol, as well as working with you on treatments. Example, I wanted to use Andy Cutler's dosing schedule, they agreed to let me try it. I wanted to add hydrocortisone, they agreed to let me try it and increase my thyroid meds. Very, very open to the patients input and very knowledgeable as you will see from the site. Worth checking into if you don't already have support. Gabriella
