Hi! Im not familiar with that product, but here's a quote I found earlier on another site that will help you find the best quality Blue Green Algea: "Blue Green Algae is an amazing product when and only when it's Natural State. Most Algae products are freeze dried, heated or processed incorrectly. You can judge quality of Algae products by their color. Natural State Blue Green Algae is iridescence and is the color of Scarab Beetles (Egyptian symbol of immortality)." http://www.radicalhealth.com/raw-food-diet/guides/product-sources.html

I had HORRIFIC reactions from taking algae supplements. Both chlorella and spirulina and will not be touching them AGAIN. I was under the impression they were quite phenomenal in what they could do. But was obviously deluded.
In actually using these things I found my body was intolerant to them. Far from detox reactions, they simply made me ill, caused horrible cramping in my stomach, gave me heart palpitations and nausea.
I believe they can be very easily contaminated and it seems every company claims "we have the purest source". ON top of this, I wonder whether algae is really so fit for human consumption...? Is it "really" normal to eat this stuff? It is actually a type of fungus and I wonder if this is why so many people with candida find they cannot tolerate the stuff.
I believe that a more natural and safer option would be barley grass/ wheat grass or alfalfa, as these are at least a type of vegetation and would not have the contaminants that algae would have. They still contain a lot of nutrients and chlorophyll.
There are some who believe the algae promotion is not much more than a money making fad and how this "fad" appears to have become popular again. I dont know what to believe, I only know what effects they had on me and I do not wish to experience that again! Coincidence or not, I can't be sure but I'm scared to even risk another trial.
