Your doctor is doing a typical protocol that many doctors do for their mercury patients and this is why Andy Cutler has had to deal with so many injured patients. Some do ok, some are devastated by it. It's not something you should ever risk yourself on and the amount and dosage is pretty outrageous.

If you want to divide the ones you already have up, that might work. It might be pretty tedious though. You might do better getting future DMSA online instead so you can get the lower dose capsules and make it much easier on yourself.

Some people can start on 50 mg - 100 mg, and according to Andy that is still pretty low, but most are safer starting on 25 mg or less and seeing how they go from there. It's up to you should you wish to start at 50 mg or 100 mg.

But the main thing is taking it every 4 hours around the clock. That is even more important. It's annoying to have to set an alarm to wake up, but it is worth it. You do that for about 3 days straight (or up to a week). Then you take a break for about the same amount of time and then repeat and so on until you reduce your blood and tissue of mercury.

Later you can add or use ALA (alpha lipoic acid) when you're ready.

I do not believe the method your doctor is using could be good for you, I believe it could be dangerous to you. It will likely redistribute more mercury into more sensitive areas, brain being one. Some people have ended up almost crippled by wrong chelation and that is an example of what NOT to do.
