I use MB12 (the methylated form) and have used it for two months. I can only tell you that in my case it has helped my recovery. It is important to note that some people do well on B12 and some cannot tolerate it. The book "Amalgam Illness" says that poor methylation (usually due to folate and B12 deficiency), is common in mercury poisoning, as are yeast infections, allergies, and many other problems. It goes on to say that correcting these may make us feel a lot better. In my case, it helps. Again, there are those who cannot take it.

hmmm, that would explain why I feel so much better when I take folic acid supplments (which have B12, B2, B6 and choline also in there).

Makes me feel better not worse. I take the folic acid supplements 2-3 times per week, general B supplements almost every morn. No problems with B's here, much better with them. Amalgams still in btw and no issues with B vitamins at all. Maybe intolerance is caused by another combination of factors in some people, but unless you know for sure you are intolerant, probably a good idea to take them.
