My mom just got off the phone with the lab, the urine Hg tests came back NEGATIVE, can you freakin believe that?!? NEGATIVE!!!! Of course they don't say what 'negative' means, they don't give the values nor ratios , I will try to find this out, as well as the technique they were using for Hg test, butI just can't take it, I feel like crying, I feel crazy, can't feel logicaly, act like crazy, scream all the time, all the tests come back OK, and now EVERYONE in my family will DEFINIETELY THINK I'm a waco, I don't f**kin know, maybe I am , IT'S LIKE EVERY ELEMENT OF THE WORLD HAS TURNED AGAINTS YOU, AND OH WHY DID I SUSPECT THAT IT WOULD HAPPEN LIKE THAT, I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jinx, this doesn't surprise me one bit. Same thing happened to me. I had a DMPS IV test done and they tested my urine. Not only was it normal, I was so low in mercury they decided there and then that I was not poisoned. However, the DMPS itself had unleashed so much mercury back into my system, I was a total mess. I had no sympathy at all from teh doctor who did it and he wanted nothing more to do with it.
So I was on my own and I believed in myself, I knew I was poisoned and basically chelated it out with other mercury detox methods. That with amalgam removal, finally got me better (then). No test has shown any level on me. One of the top doctors in my country Dr Mike Godfrey called this Retention toxicity. And if anything was not a good sign, but rather explained why I was so ill. He actually said he would have been happier to see higher levels of mercury, rather than the near nothing levels he found on me. Because even healthy people have levels of mercury, because in one way or the other, we're exposed. When the level shows very low, this is actually quite abnormal, which is why he called it retaining the poisons, rather than eliminating them. People who excrete mercury well, usually show higher levels than those who don't.
There are many reasons for low levels on testing, which is why they are notoriously inaccurate. Andy Cutler instead advises a hair test to test for deranged minerals instead. As he says there is a pattern that you can detect if mercury is at the bottom of it, though mercury on the hair test will usually be little, they'll be some classic other signs instead.
alongside this, one of the other tests is simply chelation. You use a mercury chelating agent, if your symptoms become exaggerated, that is also a high indication you've hit the target.
You already know this Jinx., you've tried it and look what happens?
So, you're not alone in this. I had a feeling the test would come back like this. It's typical and really frustrating. Those around you will not understand this senario either. I was lucky the top doctor here explained it to me. In fact, he was so concerned with the low levels, he said it was abnormally low. He said he wanted to get hte levels UP so that would show it coming out more.
I have listened to an audio tape from the US, with yet another top doctor in mercury detox. Paula Bickle I believe her name is. She described the same problem. She said in her experience, the sickest patients show the lowest levels of mercury. And she described them, how hard they are to chelate and how ill they are.
So how can mercury really be tested if that is the case? I dont think it can that accurately in most, unless it's a direct acute poisoning that shows immediate levels.
You could try the hair test. I can send more info on that and what to look for. But I really think you know the answer, your symptoms are exacerbated with the cilantro and ALA. That's telling enough.

Mercury is not the only cause...Dont stress.
Have you had thyroids checked properly...NOT BY DOCTORS THOUGH...get a saliva or blood panel with free T3, T4.
Have you checked for FOOD INTOLERANCES.
What symptoms do you feel jinx? panic, anxiety? Tension?
I have this discomfort in stomach. and weakness in muscles

Personally, I would bet my hands on this being mercury. Jinx's symptoms exacerbated severely since he had some amalgams removed, which exposed him more acutely to mercury. Since that time, he's been far worse.
The fact Jinx gets worse upon attempting to detox mercury is yet another indication.
And mercury is known to mess up thyroid function, as it messes up many other systems in the body. Usually people try and treat the symptoms, but mercury is so often missed as the underlining cause. Considering it's the most toxic metal known to man and in most people's mouths, I'd say it's playing a big role in most people's ongong health problems. As with many other toxic problems in the mouth like root canals, cavitations etc.
All of those issues are an ongoing source of potent toxicity to the human body.. Most of us have already gone down just about every other health avenue and came up with next to nothing.

James I tested freeT3 about 2months ago it came back fine. So yeah, it's mercury, I had diarhea all morning, don't know if it's related.
Guys, I had a psychosis about 2 hours ago, my mum was ready to call the psych ambulance, I took some diazepam and it helped a bit. Plus, I am very demential, mentally retarted, have lost like 80% of my my memory, don't remember daily routine I really know it's mercury IN THE BRAIN, I know I asked about it but please can you tell me what supplements to take TO SAVE MY BRAIN?? I'm so concerned, SO DESPERETALY want to be my old self again. E, flaxseed, zinc, selenium, lecithin, anything else? please, help me save my brain cells!
Is there any chance at all?

COD LIVER OIL COD LIVER OIL COD LIVER OIL
make sure it is tested and mercury free.
If you are taking pharmeceuticals it may help explain why mercury is not showing up in your urine, the chelators may be chelating other metals first. Did they check other metal levels? Aluminum? Tin? Copper? Lead? Uranium?

Jinx, you may want to print out what supplements are suggested here, so you can keep referring to it.
Andy suggests - vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B complex, Zinc, magnesium (I'd add calcium in equal doses to that), milk thistle, selenium.
And the fats that help protect and heal the brain - butter, flaxseed oil (you can use in yoghurt or cottage cheese) and as sosick suggest, mercury free cod liver oil (Blue ice is the best brand). Extra virgin olive oil is another good healthy oil to use in cooking/salads etc.
Also, get into protein foods like eggs and meat. Hal Huggins said he has not had luck curing a vegetarian yet and feels these foods are highly important in a mercury toxic person.
Andy suggests taking vitamin C, B complex and milk thistle about 3 times per day to be effective. The others can be taken once or twice.
I hope that helps Jinx and again I'd write this out and put it up on your wall where you can always refer to it. Do it right away because I know what the memory problems are like, you seriously go blank right after being told something (happens to me all the time)> I cannot even be trusted to cook on the stove, so now have to set a timer all the time!
Cheers.

Good to see you are feeling a little better Bex.
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it a bad idea to do minerals on chelation days since they will render the chelator 's (DMSA, whatever) binding strength rather useless in regard to the mercury if too many other fresh metals, eg; zinc, calcium , are present in the bloodstream at the same time?
My understanding is to take a couple days off each week to supplement with a good amount of zinc, calcium. etc. I will take zinc only in the morning with C, other vitamins, a smoothie etc but do not chelate until bedtime. I know you can take C everyday, and I do take it througout the day as long as it does not contain calcium (many C supplements contain minerals). something is obviously interfering with his abillity to unload mercury.
Or else he drank a lot of water, that would reduce load also for tests results also.

If this was some sort of challenge test its not unusual sometimes people who chelate do not see much/any mercury for months. Whether you see it depends on many factors, other metals may also come first. I have known people to do many challenge tests but show nothing, after chelation later on down the line mercury starts to come out. Best to go by hair tests in my opinion, i.e. counting rules, see a.culters book or the web
