It does seem quite strange to me that all the months i've been browsing this forum i've heard of no one being cured except for Russ has been cured, who of course has comercial interests in amalgam removal with his online store.
I must stress i am not making any accusations at all about Russ. I'm simply very skeptical by nature and find it strange that no one who has been cured or almost cured has stuck around to help others.
I understand this point of view and I do appreciate the disclaimer. It's healthy to be careful what you accept so... no problem.
I will say that of all the people I've met, Laura and I both have had probably the most dramatic recovery. I'm not sure why this is, but I would guess that it's most likely a combination of things. Perhaps the amount of physical exercise I used to get along with my gentle long-term detox style.
Anyway, I have heard from people here that they are showing improvement. I just know that a lot of people do pretty aggressive detox programs, so that could play into it as well.
I also understand and appreciate skepticism about having an interest in detox herb sales, I too put more value on studies concerning drugs or even foot baths that aren't connected with the seller.
Just so there's no confusion, here are the basic stats on my profit from supplements. Laura and I make a combined total of about $200 per month on the sale of all the supplements we sell (we sell at our cost but we do get a small commission from NSP at the end of each month. I honestly don't know what the percentage is, but I know it's small.).
I put in about 35 hours per month on this forum and about 15 hours per month speaking to people on the phone or writing emails about mercury toxicity. Laura spends about 8 hours per month on the forum and about 4 hours speaking to people or emailing people.
Now, if we do the math:
35
15
8
4 +
----
62
$200 / 62 hours = $3.22 per hour.
This does not count the hours of website and forum maintenance, nor does it count the hours of additional research time I spend reading books and studies and watching videos on the subject.
Considering that with my skill set, I could get a job starting at about $60K per year, ($28 per hour), I'm not doing too well in the herb sale business.
Frankly, I don't care much about the herb sale business except that I do post links to my herb website fairly often. This is mostly because I want new people to discover how well these things really work. (Maybe that's why I had such a good recovery?).
Anyway, I also have had 2 standing offers to give free products away on this forum within the past couple months, of course, at a loss to me. The real benefit is seeing someone discover how well herbs work and then getting control of their health. I honestly consider the money I make negligible.
I also recommend against some of the supplements I sell until later in a detox program, like ALA and Heavy Metal Detox. These would only make people sicker if they took them too soon and I don't want that.
I have also given products away to people, but I don't publicize that (and don't want to) because that's part of my service that I do for the people and I believe it's what God would have me do.
So...
I do appreciate the skepticism and I have no problem with it. You disclaimed it well and were kind about it. I even agree with the lack of dramatic recoveries.
I would venture to make a guess that the biggest problem with many (or most) people's detox programs is that they do not include enough sweat-producing exercise. Sweating is one of the best (and cheapest) ways to detox mercury.
I am anxious for the day when we see more people recovering at a faster rate. I am also anxious for the day when justice is brought to those who brought this torment upon us—and it is torment.
About what you said about people sticking around to help others...
I agree. I would love to have more people participate in this process. I have asked many for their stories so I can post them (mercurytalk.com) and yet it's pretty rare to get a new story these days. People are busy but I believe it's very important to make time to give back to society in general, and there are many ways to do that.
Hope this helps.
