This is what scares me and the validity of all the tests and everything.

Form HMA, Blood tests, Saliva tests...Its making me feel ill worrying about it all I just realised I got a panic attack reading most Hair Mineral analysis tests are FAKE and laboratories only realy test 10% of all the tests and the rest are just posted random results.

I agree. I often wondered if water tests are really valid or if they are just randomized. There is almost no accountability that I know of. It's a bit scary.

I'm more concerned with methodology, things like how they wash the hair, rather than the whole thing being an all out scam. There may not be much oversight but why would the labs take such a huge credibility risk by testing only 10% of the time and randomizing the rest? Also, if enough hair tests turned to be not much help, they wouldn't have such a realiable reputation in regards to toxicity. Cutler reccomends them and he seems to know what he's talking about.

Your concerns are not completely invalid but I think you're falling for the old "anything alternative medicine is a potential scam" mantra. Not entirely false but also a message the establishment would probably love to keep running through your head. Keep people so terrified of being scammed they never spend the $$ they need to get better. But what's worse, I ask you: to seperate one's money from their wallet, or to seperate one's brain from their body? False tests can only really screw you the former way. Dentists can and do screw you in the former and much scarier latter way.

Maybe I'm just saying this cause I just ordered Doctor's Data "test of the month" discounted hair test. But testing is merely one small piece to the puzzle. If it helps me great, if not, worst thing is I'm out 75$. Not the end of the world. I'm not going to lose sleep over whether or not I've been scammed. Would suck if so, but I don't have much control over it.

My Doctor's Data tests were great and definitely not randomized.

I did the blood tests (prior to DMPS dump), and then 24 hr fecal/urine after DMPS. They were run through my doctor's office. I did not do the hair test, was expensive enough for the other 3 and I didn't want my hair to look chopped up. To me, it didnl't make sense to test hair too far from the root since mine was a current problem, and hair grown 6 or 7" out already would be from last year or older so that seemed rather useless.

I agree, Doctors Data or Great Smokies (now Genova) labs both do heavy metal testing and seem reputable.

Not even close.

I believe it's human nature, unless it's been overcome in one's life.

My concerns about the non-accountability of people is not limited to any one profession or type of practice. It's the same whether you go to a mechanic, plumber, or CEO.

How do you know the character of a person?

See what they do when no one is looking.

Pretty simple, really.

There' are no garauntees anywhere. Are you going to not take your car to the mechanic when it has problems? Doing it yourself or watching them every step of the way aren't always options. Sure taking it in is a risk but you are taking a risk by not bringing it in, or trying to fix the problem yourself and making things worse. There are ways to minimize your risk however; you consult others who have used the mechanic to get a more honest idea of his reputation.

Ultimately I think if hair tests were randomized often they wouldn't have a reputation for being useful. I really don't think this reputation developed out of thin air, or came out of some mass marketing campaign via the "hair analysis industry". Cutler, who you endorse, reccomends them. Others post positive outcomes, though I guess they could be spam bots for the labs. Like I said, nothing is 100%. 75$ seemed a reasonable risk at this point, given the research I've done. For others maybe it's not.

Why do you need to spend money on testing? There is enough evidence that mercury leaches from fillings in toxic levels so why not just take them out.

its so expensive and can be a waste of money for some people. Loads of people have loads of fillings and are fine.

That is my belief.

In fact, that's exactly what I did. When I found out that there was mercury in my fillings, a few hours of research convinced me that it was the source of my horrible health issues (thank God for the internet). I had them removed and recovered.

I agree. I believe people should look at reputation as a large factor.

I also agree that people should have hair tests done, especially if they want to know what the source of their health issues are so they can work with them more effectively.

Just so you understand that I'm not making a black-and-white point here. It's a gray point, and that is that there is plenty of corruption out there and we need to be aware of it and be careful. just like anything else, there are people who care and people who don't. We need to find those who do and honor them with our business.

About mechanics...
(Nothing against mechanics, I just have some bad experiences sometimes.)

I need 4-wheel drive to get to my house in the winter. Last fall, it was not working. I spent $500 between two mechanics.

(1) The first mechanic said that he fixed the problem by replacing a part and some vacuum lines. The problem was not fixed and I demonstrated this to him by taking him for a ride, yet he still insisted that it was working correctly. $300.

(2) The second mechanic replaced a $10 part, charged book--rate for the job ($200) and it was still not working.

I did 30 minutes of research on the Internet, learned how the system works, and had a theory that 2 vacuum lines were reversed. I called the second shop and asked if they had checked the vacuum lines and they said they had and they were connected correctly.

Finally, I bundled up and fixed it in a few hours myself. I discovered that the part that the first mechanic said he had replaced had not been replaced (he lied). The second mechanic probably never did check the vacuum lines because that was the actual cause of the problem. I found them, reversed them and the system has worked perfectly since then.

Essentially, I paid $500 for $10 worth of vacuum lines.

No accountability.
