I dont agree with everything Cutler says either. I get annoyed on occassion with the absolutist statements also.

DMPS IV can work, but because of the doctors who have used it wrong and harmed patients, it gets a bad name. DMPS IV for me was a bit of a nightmare, because it pulled so much mercury out of my deeper areas and into the system, that I was beseiged by symptoms and from then on.

It forced my body to erupt a lot of mercury and from there, that mercury would rise up onto my skin in the form of rashes whenever I exercised or bathed. Those rashes would increase upon me taking anything that encouraged further mercury mobilisation in some way. So I knew it was mercury.

The rashes were a way the mercury did start to come out of me through the skin, but the DMPS IV was pretty devastating to me. I do not believe it was done safely though. It was a DMPS IV challenge test, which can be very very risky. They give you a HUGE amount of It in ONE shot. This really should be avoided. The doctor should be using a safe protocol, they should have a safe track record with other patients and should know what they are doing.

For me it was like lighting a match near gasoline. But done correctly, I hear it can be very good. But there are stories out there of awful outcomes from DMPS IVs because of stupid doctors doing it wrong.
