Andrea, Hi I had ED testing done for cavitations, and filling compatability as well as some other health related issues. I was told I had 3 cavitations, l moderate, and 2 mild, as well as some composit incompatibility. I was so convinced, I set up an appt with Dr. Shankland , a 10 hour trip to have them confirmed and surgery. I was also going to get my TMJ looked at as my jaw was locked shut. He fixed my locked jaw, I instantly felt so much better. I insisted on the cavitat scan as I was told by the ED testing that I had cavitations. Dr. Shankland looked at my panorex and taking all the info of my exam with him and said, I did not have any cavitations. I was so taken back because I trusted the ED testing. So just to be sure I had Dr. S do one portion of my mouth with the supposed moderate cavitation and sure enough everything looked great. He said I had great blood flow, etc, etc, etc. So that is my experience with ED testing. I wouldn't really trust it. One thing it was correct in was the compatability testing. It had the same results as with the Clifford blood tests for compatable dental materials. hth, Veg
