I've been reading alot of posts on the forum about cavitations and wanted to pass along some information that I believe is worth looking into.

I've researched the damage that cavitations can have on your entire system and have spoken to my biological dentist about this at my last visit. I am in the process of having 13 of my amalgam fillings replaced and have had all four wisdom teeth pulled over 20 years ago.

He has been practicing biological dentistry for quite some time now and is a very "state of the art" dentist. He is one of the few that use oxygen/ozone therapy to kill bacteria in your gums. In fact, my very first amalgam removal turned out to be a potential problem. The filling was so deep that it had decayed all the way down into the gum line. He told me he would treat it with an oxygen/ozone injection and that he couldn't be 100% sure that the decay wasn't too far gone so much so that I may loose the tooth. The oxygen/ozone injection worked and after three weeks my tooth was completely back to normal with no problems.

Anyway, about the cavitations. He said there is an ultrasound device that some biological dentists have that can find cavitations that is highly accurate. In doing it this way, you can be sure exactly if you have bacteria under there. He doesn't have this device himself, but told me that he will send me to a dentist in the area who does so I can be sure when I am through with the removal process. He also mentioned how effective oxygen/ozone therapy will be in treating any cavitations if found.

I wanted to pass this along so anyone else who has this problem may give a better look into this.

I found some information on it on the web. This dentist who discusses it is not my dentist, but what he says matched just what my dentist recommended. The website is: www.wholebodymed.com Click on "library and education" and you can search many articles on there -- there's one on cavitations and one even on oxygen/ozone therapy. I found the site to be very informative.
