I had the same thing - impacted wisdom teeth. For me, it didn't do a thing to my health, or at least I didn't notice it. But, you "could" get some trapped food in there and bacteria, so you would have to be quite vigilant in cleaning that area. But I never noticed it, I never vigilantly cleaned those areas and never noticed anything occur.
Mind did eventually come through a little more as I got older, probably around late twenties or so. I was told they should be removed because an infection might develop.
Well, instead of preventing problems by removal, they created them I believe and worse than I could ever have imagined. If they didn't then coincidentally during that time of dental work, I have never been the same. Though I had already been harmed by a virus before that, this seemed to be the last straw.
You will not get cavitations from impacted wisdom teeth. You might get an infection due to trapped food/bacteria, but it is not the same as what occurs in the socket itself when the tooth has been removed and not enough bone grows back. The bacteria there is, as you've heard, is so toxic it's quite beyond belief.
So an infection you "may" ever get from the area itself, and should be more external and obvious like swelling or pain, rather than the quiet, insidious potent toxicitiy from a cavitation going on underneath, yet usually being hidden.
I don't know what to tell you to do for yourself personally, but I can say I did have impacted wisdom teeth and really I was fine with them in. They did expose more later on, but never were completely exposed. I should have left them alone.
It is up to you. If you really want to get them out, then whatever you do, make sure you go to a biological dentist and insist on a local anaesthetic that has NO vaso constrictor and make sure the dentist will remove the periodontal ligament. Basically if you can find a biological dentist that knows about cavitations and treats them, he may then remove your wisdom teeth properly.
