Great, another thing to worry about.

What's the thinking here about cavitations? I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed 20 years ago. I've read cavitations can be asymptomatic - or the symptoms can sound a lot like mercury/candida issues.

What's the consensus here? Is the treatment for cavitations viable? Or possibly worse than leaving untreated?

I'll talk to my dentist next week when I get my last amalgam filling removed, but wanted to hear what you all think (I did a site search, but want to hear the latest).

Thanks.

According to Hal Huggins, a patient who is suffering from cavitation illness is far sicker than a mercury toxic patient. The toxins produced from cavitations are among the most toxic a human being can ever be exposed to.

The potent gram negative bacteria that are contained are apparently devastating to the immune system. But again, many people have cavitations, but the question is, is the bacteria being contained? Or has the immunity failed and it has become systemic?

If the bacteria is being held in the area itself, usually the person will cope, but if it spreads, then they may become extremely ill and have no idea what is causing it.

They can cause ongoing pain in areas of the body that may seem completely unrelated to the mouth/jaw, they can cause debilitating illness, extreme fatigue. One guy had them and ended up in a wheelchair because he was so ill. previously he had been extremely active sporty and loved life. This nearly destroyed him.

Upon finding out what he had, having them surgically treated, his life returned to him. There are no guarantees however. Some people may show them and have no symptoms, other people may hardly show them at all and have full blown illness. T

Some get them treated and improve, some are cured, some do not notice any difference and some get worse (hopefully just temporarily).

Also cavitation surgery does not always work, some have to be redone. Cavitations are caused by lack of blood flow to the area and inability for the bone to heal over. In that space bacteria grow and the worst kind of bacteria you can imagine. They can occur from tooth extraction and the dentist using a vaso constrictor local anaesthetic. This is designed to keep the numbing going as long as possible nad make it more effective by frustrating blood flow to the area. However, in doing that, apparently can encourage a cavitation to occur.

The other big reason is extracting a tooth but leaving the periodontal ligament behind. This ligament is what held the tooth and nourished it. Kind of like the ambilical cord. So the dentist removes the tooth, leaves the ligament behind in the socket. The socket "heals" over externally, but underneath the ligament basically rots. Because of this, healthy bone growth to fill in the area simply cannot occur properly.

This is what dentists are doing to people. They do not engage their brain to figure out these things, they just mechanically do their job, but do not "THINK" about the consequences of this side of it. Then the person goes from one doctor to another usually being though of as neurotic and finally if they do figure out what might be wrong, the finance to attempt to fix the problem can be overwhelming.

Testing for cavitations can be near impossible. Hidden cavitations are the worst. Showing next to nothing being wrong and the entire time there could be potent bacteria there and making the person very ill. I have them, but my dentist missed them on my xray, until he did a bone scan and then saw them. Then he went back to the xray and sure enough he saw the ghostly white lines that are barely visible right in the area of the extractions (wisdom teeth areas).

I can see them now when I look at it, but if you didn't know what to realy look for, the xray looks normal. Also cavitations do not always produce any obvious symptoms like pain and swelling. Sometimes they can but usually they are "silent", hidden and maybe causing internal systemic illness instead.

You can have a look at my xray if you click on the word attachment under the subject title on this post. And if you look carefully you should see the white ghostly faint lines in the extraction site areas. I'm sure many people have them, but probably do not have symptoms.

I have had experience with cavitations and let me just say that I despise the doctors who ignore them. They are organic toxins factory-shops and they can make you sick as anything I have ever seen before. So don't take them lightly.
If you have symptoms and are mercury toxic. Have them look into this first. As this will be the best thing that you can do to heal over your system and to let your immune system cope with the needed dental work to remove mercury.

yeah Sage, I'm starting to wonder about myself with this too. Sadly no dentist will help me in my country and I cannot afford to go elsewhere. One that does, won't do mine because he says I'm too sick for the work.

I may have to find an oral surgeon, but sadly it will not be a biologic dentist which I would obviously want.

Andy Cutler said if cavitations exist? Amalgam removal alone will not cure the patient. So if a person's fails to improve or WAS improving and things stopped healing, someitmes cavitations can be the casue.

THe list of problems never seem to end lol. But the more knowledge the better we can heal ourselves.

What are the causes of cavitations? Is the only cause from Teeth being pulled out incorrectly?

What are all the symptoms of Cavitations or specific ways of knowing this could be the main cause?

Thanks

I wish I knew more, but all I know is wrongly extracted teeth can lead to them. I don't know what else can because only when the tooth is pulled does the area need to fill in with healthy bone. If it doesn't or there is a gap, it can become a bacterial trap and from there act like a tap leaking into the rest of the body.

I think if I recall, Hal Huggins spoke of them and it seemed that people who had cavitations, once they got hit down with something, it was like not being able to get back up after it. Ages to recover from any hit on their health. I don't know the exact symptoms becuase it can be different for everybody with this. Guess it may depend on the weaknesses of that person. But like myself, I go from one health problem to another and no sooner have I taken months to recover from something, than I go down and again and it starts over. this did not used to happen, and this is the story of my life now.

Fatigue is probably a stand out one. The toxins from cavitations are dreadful, worse than anything. I recall the mention of mustard gas as an example. don't quote me on that one.

If someone can end up in a wheelchair because of them, or basically totally debilitated, well that should give us some indication of how severe they can be. I also hear that some people will suffer ongoing pain in areas of their body too and not attribute it to cavitations.

Again, it's not a sure thing, most of us, if not all on here are working in the dark one way or the other. I don't know if there are any specific ways of detecting them because they are so notoriously hard to find.

Xrays can sometimes show something, but even then it's hard to see. Bone scans do too, but I never know if any of it is overly accurate. One health professional said he detected gangrene (dead pulp) on the lefthand side of my jaw where one wisdom tooth had been removed in 2004. Coincidentally this is when my life became far far worse.

yet on xray and bone scan? It showed next to nothing, yet it showed cavitations in other areas of my mouth that had been done years previously before I even got this ill. So I have NO idea what is going on. Contradictions never cease, I have no answers.

HI there JoeUK,

If you want to know more about cavitations then I suggesto you do some research.
They are are gangrenous holes in the jaw which form at the sites of previous extractions. Scary Eh? Considering how many teeth we have all had pulled. They are most commonly formed at previous Wisdom tooth sites.
The bacteria mutate and grow and produce toxins which overload the system. Which causes a range of problems. Such as fatigue, neck pain, joint stiffness and even mental fogginess. As you can see, these symptoms sometimes or always overlap with mercury poisoning. But they are not. It is also estimated that the toxins produced in these cavitations are a thousand times more deadly than botulism. So I will say it again. Scary...

Thanks for your replies.

I guess Im best to leave my wisdom teeth than. I actually thought it was bad for wisdom teeth not to develop properly though specially since im 23. I have just a bit of my widom tooth sticking out form my gum since its not come out...could this cause any mental problems?
