Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I've heard that antibiotics will make mercury toxicity worse. Could someone explain why or how this happens?
I've had this question in my mind for a long time and kept forgetting to ask it.
Thanks in advance, everyone!

I don't have an answer for you Sharon, but I can tell you that since I had to take antibiotics over Easter for roaring tonsilitis, I have been more fatigued than ever. I told myself, may be it wouldn't be that bad, as I follow a very strict diet, take probiotics, milk thistle etc etc etc, but two weeks on I have this horrendous fatigue that literally weighs me down as I sit here.
I hope it passes soon..
Best Nicola

I think it may have to do with growing more yeast which harbours more mercury and then when the yeast dies off, it redistributes the mercury. Also don't some medications have heavy metals in them?
I just finished a round of antibiotics for my cold/flu but because I do the diet so strictly, I feel no negative effects...not so far. I have chemo this Thursday, so we shall see.
Just my 2 cents...
