I have had a stiff neck ,pain in my shoulders and a feeling of pressure in the back of my head for as long as I can remmember. These symtoms are probably due to hg vaporizing from my fillings. The head pressure might be hg crossing the blood brain barrier. Bex's link to Bob Marshall at phpure says that composite fillings also cause neck and shoulder stiffness and pain. Bob Marshall PhD says that replacing composites and amalgam with "low fusing ceramic" fillings inlays and crowns eliminates these symtoms. He says that although most people don't initially react to composites ,eventually they have allergic and other reactions.According to Marshall, low fusing ceramics are more stable than composites and are of the same hardness as teeth, unlike composites which are much softer than teeth. He also says that composites readily leak their their toxic chemical soup whereas low fusing ceramics are relatively stable and non reactive. In any case, the constant neck stiffness and headache is making me mad as a hatter.Neck stiffness may contribute to the light headed feeling many of us experience. When I was in my twenties, I went to a chiropractor for the neck pain.I know Elvis told me not to tell people don't do this or that I reccomend you not go to chiropractors for neck pain . Chiropractic neck adjustment is the leading cause of stroke in people under fifty. Bex's link: http://www.phpure.com/nutrition_products/pdfs/right_dental_choice.pdf
