Prior to being diagnosed with mercury poisoning in 2004,and then learning all the possible symptoms of it,my thought was that all of the wierd stuff I was going through were being caused by compressed nerves in my neck.
The right side of my neck was numb,I would get severe cracking(it is called crepitis),plus I would get wild shooting pains out to my shoulders.
I saw 2 spine surgeons plus visited Mayo Clinic twice to consider a 4 level cervical fusion. Fortunately the doctors were smart enough to advise me that though my MRI's showed severe stenosis they did not feel that surgery would relieve the wide array of symptoms I described.
Here, though is the best part, once I had my amalgams replaced in July 2004 all the neck symptoms reduced 90% within a month. I have not had to take a pain killer since then. I will still occasionally get a crack or a short period of numbness.
I think in my case the mercury was getting stored in my joints.

Good luck with your pursuit.
