Unfortunately I'm still in hell. I've been on my new diet for two weeks (and I'm still fine tuning it) but so far this big, black cloud won't go away. I know that it probably takes longer than that to work if it works but I don't feel like I have a lot of time. I'm thinking about getting an injection of ketamine (see http://www.ketamine.com/antidepressant-potential.html) to at least temporarily relieve my depression. It works differently than antidepressants do and it could help me. I'd rather not resort to drugs but I'm badly in need of some help and even Cutler advocates the use of certain drugs such as antidepressants during detox to survive. The use of ketamine for depression is still experimental but my doctor has offered me that option. I did not take any chelating agents during April because I thought that I had pushed too hard on that and I wanted to give my body a rest. Unfortunately April turned out being one of my worst months in the recent past. It could be that I stopped for too long and Cutler warns against that in his book. Does anyone have any more ideas on how I can get some relief from this agony?
