I have read that it can be caused by a galvanic reaction betwween 2 reactive metals in the mouth. Do you sitll have metal fillings in your mouth?

I have found that Tinnitus is really made worse by caffeine. I believe this is because caffeine actually acts as a carrier of mercury through cell walls (Dr. Haley). Mercury then acts like an excitotoxin making nerve cells "fire" without any other stimulation and the resulting symptoms is ringing in the ears (based on some speculation).
I'm not sure the conclusion is correct, but a lot of evidence seems to point that way. So... To control tinnitus, eliminate caffeine. I also personally found that sugar can have the same effect as caffeine to a lessor degree.
Hope this helps.

This is a bit out there, but another possibly is Extremely Low Frequencies. I've talked to many people and a lot hear it.
What gives it more credibility is personally I've heard the frequency change, then all of a sudden the pitch goes higher. Doesn't sound like an organically generated occurance to me.
Consider the number of Cell phone towers, possible ELF from H.A.A.R.P, etc, etc.

When I first started having my amalgams removed and replaced ringining in my ears started. I noticed that as I take my medication (first Oral DMSA now Oral DMPS) it is going away. Hope this helps. What stage are you in? Pre-amalgam removal or post?

Hope this helps. This is very interesting Russ, do you mind sharing where you read the link about caffeine being a transporter of mercury into the cells? There are quite a few that I know that don't want to give up caffeine and they can't figure out why they feel so crappy...maybe this might convince them.... Thanks, Sandi xoxo

Hi Sandi,
This information comes from a video that Dr. Haley made that I used to sell on our website.
(Except that I got an angry phone call from his wife stating that we didn't have permission to sell it. Of course, I assumed it would be OK because they offered quantity discounts and I assumed they did that for the purposes of reselling, because that's how all of our other vendors work. Plus I had an email in to them about this but perhaps she didn't get it. So, for this reason, I—regrettably—cannot post a short video clip of his explanation. Bummer.)
Anyway, back to the subject...
He said (roughly) that caffeine surrounds the mercury like a sandwich which allows it to enter through the cell wall, which it could not otherwise do.
He didn't go into detail about it, but I though it was interesting considered my experience with mercury and it's relationship with ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
I want to add that I'm not sure, at all, why they have taken this "protect the material" approach to their video material, which contains a wealth of information. You would think that they would want to get it out. I'm confused about their stance on this one.

Thanks Russ, I appreciate that info. I have looked for a caffeine/mercury connection for some time, but haven't found any to date. That is too bad they won't share the info, I wonder what they are saving it for?

Hi I have Tinnitus, it started 4months ago. I really tried everything and see everyone from ENT, TRT, MD, Allergiest, and started trying sound thearphy like white noise. I will be removing my silver fillings and hopefully it goes away.
