Hi you guys- Yes, I got that exact "high' feeling when I was a child- and right after each metal filling dental visit. I sat in the back seat of the car all spaced out -- and it wasn t from any pain killer, because the dentist I had didnt use any pain killer on us- nor laughing gas.

The feeling was like a drunken stupor-- where if I had to walk a straight line, I wouldnt be able to focus to keep my feet on the line.

After my 2nd to last filling removal , I didnt get enough oxygen in me after they drilled out that filling, and I got that sensation again. I had to sit in the car for a bit to gather my wits- and breathe deeply into an extra plug-in car fan I have set up. I also washed saline solution into my eyes . Luckily my home isn't too far from the dental office, so as soon as I got home, I showered and took a whole bunch of Vitamin C with bioflavonoids, activated charcoal and Algin.

I also got this same spaced out dizzy feeling after crunching on some thick ridged potato chips the year before I started having my fillings gradually replaced.
