Hi anon, you're welcome. I don't worry as much about the supplement side of things, I concentrate on the diet side more and add things later. Yeah I don't quite get the B complex thing, but apparently they think niacin (vitamin B3) is necessary to help with release of toxins as it seems to open up the capilleries in the skin more and you get a temporary flush from it. But, as most B complex supplements contain B3 in the form of niacinamide instead of niacin, they suggest buying niacin seperately as well so you will get the help with opening up the capillaries (unless you can find a B complex that already contain niacin). If you can get a B complex already containing niacin, yu may not need to buy it seperately, unless you need to take more of it.
The reason why most of your mates can eat tons of sugar and soft drinks etc, is because they are not ill like you are and suffering as you are. Which is why you are on here like I am. My friends and family are the same way, they eat sugar etc and are doing better than me. Though you may eat far less of that stuff than them, due to your illness, you will still be causing a lot of harm. You only need a bit of sugar to continue to feed a candida problem. Someone without candida or someone with a pretty good immunity won't notice the problem as much. Someone with a lowered immunity won't need much sugar at all to cause massive issues.
Usually the reason why you feel better when you eat it, is because yeast is happy when it's being fed. when you start to go off sugar properly, then the yeast begins to get uncomfortable because it starts to hunger for sugar and then you feel the same way. So then you interpret that as being bad, and sugar is good or makes you better, so instead of keeping up the no sugar diet and pushing on so the excessive yeast reduces/dies off, you eat more sugar again and you feel better again (temporarily), but your overall problems continue as they have and usually never cease. That's how it was for me. I convinced myself and gave myself every excuse to continue eating sugar. Finally when my issues continued and I was close to possibly ending my life, that I decided to get serious and put up with the temporary discomfort and cravings. I never regretted it.
Many people do not like to do the diet because they cannot stand how they start to feel. If only they realised that it is temporary and the fact you feel worse when you stop sugar, is indicative that you most likely have a yeast issue and this could very well be a big part of your problem. It is really sad becaue the very thing that you need to exclude, is the very thing the yeast needs to eat and survive, which is why you find it hard to give up.
It is no wonder you feel better again when you start eating more sweets. But unless you go through the temporary discomfort and die off from getting strict on the diet, you may find your other problems will simply remain.
In the end it's up to you should you wish to try it. At least you know it's there. You may find it helpful to start reading up on candida. It effects almost anybody with illness one way or the other. It's an opportunist and anytime your immune system has been lowered, it tends to overgrow and can take over and become an illness all on its own.
So many of us have to get serious with diet etc, in order to keep it at remotely tolerable levels. So, if you ever want to try this, know you're not alone! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I was a sugar addict so I know what it's like to start on this and think NO WAY. Oh I've been down that road.
just know that it's an option for you at least, but no pressure. I like to pass this advice on though because people have no idea how much of a major issue it can be. they usually overlook it or "move on" because the idea of giving up that food is almost unthinkable lol. But for me? eating that food and tolerating further anxiety etc is far more intolerable in the end.
