I've found that cutting down on dairy has helped with the eye floaters in particular. I've noticed that when I eat cheese or dairies, I get the floaters very thick. Because I'm a vegetarian, I'm finding it very difficult to cut out dairy completely (which I would like to do for the same reasons I am vegetarian) but I've stopped drinking milk and eatng yogurts and cut down considerably on cheese. Now I only have milk if it's in something else like cake or chocolate.
You could try vanilla rice milk and oat milk. These are what I currently use. I didn't do too well with soya, possibly because of aluminium in it. The downside is they are both slightly more expensive, but the oat milk is nice on cereals which are oaty anyway (make sure you get quality cereals, some cereals are the equivalent of eating sugar!), and the vanilla rice milk is so nice that it's drinkable on it's own and is nice in coffee (which I know is not good, but hey a girl has got to have some vice <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />) Plain rice isn't as nice as the vanilla, in my opinion, but the vanilla is again more expensive.
There is also pea/sunflower milk available, which I can't remember the name of now, that has the highest alternative protein to milk. I would try it if I could get it locally, but it is available to order. Will look for the site later.
